Ariana Grande is going to any lengths possible to forget her ex. On Friday, the 30-year-old vocalist launched the video for her brand-new track, “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” and it reveals her having her memories of her previous love eliminated from her brain.

In the video, Grande gets to a workplace where she’ll have her memories of her one-time beau, both excellent and bad, removed from her mind. As the medical professionals do their work, Grande reflects on the love as it’s completely cleaned from her memory. At the end, a box filled with products that are a pointer of the relationship are burned to ash.

“I do not wan na tiptoe, however I do not wan na conceal/ But I do not wan na feed this monstrous fire/ Just wan na let this story pass away/ And I’ll be alright,” Grande sings in the opening verse, before vocalizing in the bridge, “It’s somethin’ like a daydream/ But I feel so seen in the night/ So in the meantime, it’s just me/ And perhaps that’s all I require.”

Grande’s latest video dropped the exact same day that her brand-new album Everlasting Sunshinewas launched. The album follows Grande’s divorce from Dalton Gomezand fans are currently hypothesizing about what lyrics might be about him.

In the title track for example, Grande sings about somebody unfaithful on her as she belts out, “I’ve never ever seen somebody lie like you do/ So much, even you begin to believe it’s real/ So now we play our different scenes/ Now, now she’s in my bed, mm-mm, layin’ on your chest/ Now I’m in my head, wonderin’ how it ends.”

Grande likewise appears to reference her brand-new beau, Ethan Slater, singing, “Hope you feel alright when you’re in her/ I discovered a great kid and he’s on my side.”
