The Rock & Roll Hall of Popularity’s 2021 conscripts have been exposed! On Wednesday, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame revealed that Tina Turner, JAY-Z and Carole King are amongst its 2021 class.
Other inductees in the entertainer category, which honors bands and solo artists who have created music whose creativity, effect and impact has actually altered the course of rock & roll, consist of The Go-Go’s, Foo Fighters and Todd Rundgren.
This marks Turner’s second spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Popularity, as she was inducted in 1991 as part of Ike & Tina Turner. King is already in the hall as a songwriter, and will be going in this time as an entertainer. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl will be inducted for a 2nd time too, as he is already in the hall as a member of Nirvana.

The 36 th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Popularity Induction Event will occur on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET in Cleveland, Ohio. There will be a radio simulcast on SiriusXM’s Rock & Roll Hall of Popularity Radio channel310 The Induction Event will air at a later date on HBO and stream on HBO Max.
