MyKayla Skinner is clarifying her eyebrow-raising take on the U.S. ladies’s gymnastics group ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

On Wednesday, the previous Olympian published a brief video to her Instagram Stories in which she declared her current remarks about Team USA had actually been “misinterpreted.”

Skinner explained herself as “so pumped” for the members of the existing group. “I enjoy those women and I’m seriously so pleased for them, so I would never ever do anything to make them feel otherwise,” she stated.
